You Guessed It: More Anatomy Classwork
I need to stop taking such low-quality pictures of my work with my phone's camera.
Will I stop doing that? Probably not.

Kangaroo Cavalry
Never seen it done, so I had to do it. I originally thought the knight should be inside the pouch, but that ended up being a little impractical. Just a little.
UPDATE: It HAS been done before. The guy is a Keele...as in brother of Kevin Keele, who works at Avalanche...what a freaking coincidence.

Clash of Epicness
This is what I drew yesterday...bit of a sketch, but I could make it look nice later I suppose.
So here's the story. Virginia the Christian Rocker was questing throughout Neo-Europe for the fabled Holy Axe of Ages guitar. Virginia believed possessing the Axe was the last step in her journey to become the greatest Christian Rock Goddess in history.
Her quest finally brought her to a seemingly abandoned mountaintop castle, wherein she found the ancient relic lodged in a pedestal made of pure rock candy. Impetuously, Virginia pulled the Guitar from its resting place, and unwittingly broke the seal that had been keeping the vampire, Count Von Der Zucker captive for a thousand years.
With the Count and his pet zombie dragon Blutrünstig now running free throughout Neo-Europe, it's Virginia's divine obligation to banish them once again to Candy Hell.

HurrHurrrr
some old art from my figure drawing class back in spring that I never took pictures of until now. The bottom one is a master-copy, it was for my final in that class. I wish I knew the name of the original artist...some Chinese guy, I guess.

Time Waaarp!
I did this a few weeks ago at our "first" drawing party.
I used a real dog for reference on that snoopy character, honest!

Whoahoshoah
since I have finally figured out how to paint digitally, here is a practice portrait which took way too long as I was getting the hang of things while not working from a reference and doing it in my own style. Hopefully my next attempts will be a lot bigger and done a lot faster.

Haha.....HEROES.
Thursday, August 13, 2009
Started this the other night at one of Alex's drawing parties. This is what I came up with. Scans from an actual book.
Done in photoshop cs4.
I think I finally got the hang of digital painting...or at least how I wanted to be able to digitally paint. NEAT.

Rebel 1! Ac-shon!
I got a little excited about the idea of making the sucker vampire a fighting game character, so I started animating him and his faithful little zombie dragon snake thing.

Hello, Boyos
So i'm new here, y'all. But I've met a few of you I believe. Alex, Parker and SJBizzle. So, I might as well make a first impression that's hopefully kind of good maybe a little bit? I'm not very motivated, so when I do post something it's a bit alarming. Here you are, a simple cliche illustration. Also, I don't know why they're all cutting off, but just left click and view image if you wanna see the whole thing.

Sadly, I don't Have Anything New Right Now
Sadly, I don't have anything new right now, but anyway, I made a new portfolio site with deviantART--if you have an account there, check it out. It's very professional and nice looking.
CHECK IT OUTTTTTT.

I was so bored I made a self-portrait--you know it's bad when it comes to that. I guess I liked what I was wearing today. Ha, I like when I haven't digitally painted in a while and I see that I have drastically improved. I ought to try more realistic painting more, recently it's just been my own style, but I haven't done one in a loooong time.
OH and I almost forgot. Since Alex was wondering where the breasts were on my last entry...here they are. Ignore how long she is. Try to imagine that it is a stylistic approach of mine, okay?

Watch out! Uber Geekiness!
Here's the reason I've not been drawing anything lately, (outside of class anyway, but I'll get to that soonish.)
Behold the Dark Elves! ...wow, I do use cheap craft paints from Michaels but frankly they look like crap up close and in diffused sunlight, haha
This guy is called a Black Guard:

Figure Modeling
I haven't posted anything in a bit, so I figured I would post something from my classes right now.
So… I just turned my online figure modeling homework in 3 minutes before it was due.
*bathes in the glory of her professional-level procrastination*
At least it looks good. I can't wait to finish it. I'm actually liking this class a lot, despite me never having sculpted before at ALL. But I'll post the finished sculpture, as well.
woohoooo.
