some old art from my figure drawing class back in spring that I never took pictures of until now. The bottom one is a master-copy, it was for my final in that class. I wish I knew the name of the original artist...some Chinese guy, I guess.

I used a real dog for reference on that snoopy character, honest!

since I have finally figured out how to paint digitally, here is a practice portrait which took way too long as I was getting the hang of things while not working from a reference and doing it in my own style. Hopefully my next attempts will be a lot bigger and done a lot faster.

I think I finally got the hang of digital painting...or at least how I wanted to be able to digitally paint. NEAT.
